Fellowship Building

Sunday mornings begin with our Sunday School Bible Training for children and adults at 9:30am.

Children ages 2 years old through 2nd grades meet in the fellowship building.  Grades 3 - 8 meet in classrooms in the basement of the sanctuary building.  Little ones stay with their mothers and high school students join the adults in the RTC (Righteousness Training Center) building, behind the sanctuary.  There are two adult classes to choose from.  Paul Telfer teaches the class in the front classroom and JD Rupp teaches the class in the back classroom.

Worship begins at 10:45 am.  When you enter the front doors, you will see our friendly greeters who will hand you a bulletin with the scripture memory verse(s) for that week, upcoming events, the pastor's scripture verses, and other important information.  There is also a side door that has an accessible entrance.

What about children?

We love babies and children at Bridgeport!  Most of our families choose to keep their children with them during the church service, so we do not have nursery workers available.  But if a little one becomes fussy, there are two options where you can go with your child.  There is a lovely nursery in the Fellowship building with a crib, rocking chair, toys, and changing supplies.  There is also a large room in the basement (under the sanctuary) where mothers can take their babies as well.

What will the worship service be like?

Worship Service

Our worship leaders rotate throughout the month.  Some weeks there will be a worship team leading music, complete with various musical instruments and multiple singers.  Other weeks one man will lead the worship time alone. Sometimes we will sing praise and worship songs, sometimes we will sing hymns, and often we will sing a blend of both.  Pastor Jonathan typically preaches three Sundays a month, with elders, other men from the church, or guest speakers, sharing once during the month.   When there are five Sundays in one month, we share communion together on that 5th Sunday.  All believers in the Lord Jesus Christ are welcome to participate in communion.
